1970 Early Bay

This hand picked early bay has been imported into the UK from the USA, it's in original paint and is the perfect blank canvas for the bus of your dreams.

Although the bus has an almost perfect body and runs and drives we would suggest that a little mechanical work might be required to get the bus upto T2D's high standard and through an MOT first time. This additional work can be done here at T2D or the bus can be taken as is.

Stunning 1963 15 Window Deluxe Microbus   

Here we have a stunning 1963 15 Window Deluxe Microbus (no expense spared), this is an awesome bus it turns heads every where it goes. If you fancy been in the limelight well this is the bus for you. This is not a fleetline 15 Window, it is a proper German Deluxe Model.

All work has been completed to the highest standard.

Achievements since completion:
Volksworld Camper and Bus front cover feature December 2008, Volksworld show 2009, Volksworld’s Pick, Best split at Volksworld Camper and Bus Big Bang show 2009 also a winner at VW Action 2009.

Spec is as Follows:

Suspension:
4 inch narrowed CB adjustable front beam with T2D dropped spindles. Bus boys straight axle kit at rear with adjustable spring plates. Steel steering rack from Valley Gas Speedshop.

Wheels and Tyres:
Flat 4 detailed chrome fuch. 4.5J Front and 5.5J at rear all with slammed tyres.

Brakes:
Porsche 944 brakes at front and rear with new discs and duel circuit conversion.

Interior:
Original microbus interior recovered with dark and light grey vinyl from Germany by Trimmania (see website for further pictures) and creative deluxe trim all round. All Deluxe goodies still present including Coat of Arms Horn push steering wheel, Coat Hooks, Jail Bars, Blaupunkt Radio, Chrome ashtray, Deluxe Clock, Chrome Speedo surround and CSP shifter. Alpine CD player with IPod connection.

Body:
All original panels and glass. Body re-sprayed in Duralit DG Volkswagen B5B Aquarius Blue and Duralit 2T9 Volkswagen DG Weiss. Polished deluxe trim. Full length creative 6 bow stainless steel rack and original safari windows and pop outs with extra length spoons. Porsche Carrera Headlight grills and original spot lights. All body work straight and in show condition.

Engine:
Brand new Genuine Mexican 1600cc with twin 34 Webers, new gear box, oil breather and new tuck away exhaust.
