Bay window bus one day lowering service.

(This service is great if you wish to lower your bus anything from 2 to 6 inches).

Over the last 15 years we have developed and refined our one day lowering service. Our method allows us to modify your front axle  in situ and set the ride height accurately without the axle having to be removed and reworked on the bench as would normally be the case. This eliminates the need to run adjusters which are normally important for fine tuning, as when the beam has been lowered off of the vehicle the ride height can't be confirmed until the bus is rolling again. 

We use the same basic principle as you would when running adjusters by turning the internal torsion leave block within the front axle until the desired height is archived, but once ride height is set we weld the block back into place rather than using a serrated clamp/beam adjuster. Of course should you wish for some adjustment beam adjusters can be fitted for a further £100.00

The rear end is lowered by turning the rear spring plates on the spines until the desired height is achieved.

The drive in drive out price is £350 which covers the lowering of the front and rear, tracking, and steering wheel alignment.

We recommend the use of our gas shocks on the front end for a smoother ride, at an additional cost of £75.00 per pair.

If you wish to go more than a couple of inches lower than standard we would suggest that the standard tyres are swapped some with a lower profile/side wall to obtain better tyre to arch clearance, these can be supplied and fitted by T2D and is worth discussing in advance when booking in for the work.
